Our History

10th Street Elementary was established in 1888.  It is one of the oldest elementary schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Located in the Pico-Union neighborhood, 10th Street Elementary has served generations of Angelenos.

10th Street's Main Building was designed by Los Angeles architect Washburn Gidden.  Built in 1922, the building is representative of the Spanish Colonial Revival style.  The building still features an original fine oak door entrance.
